Enter or Edit Documentation
When you select a Document option in the main EVMax window, notice the three additional document related tabs in the Ribbon Menu: , , and . For more information on using these tabs, see Documentation.
The following steps assume you are using the Standard View Ribbon Menu option.
Prerequisites
- You have defined one or more account level (work breakdown structure (WBS)/control account) Standard Documents for your project. See Add Project Standard Documents. For the dropdown, select .
- Or, you have defined one or more Other Documents for a specific WBS element or control account (Account tab). See Add Other Documents.
- Select in the Navigation Menu. The main EVMax window displays.
- Select your project from the dropdown in the Ribbon Menu.
- Expand the WBS hierarchy as needed to view the WBS elements.
- Select the WBS element or control account row in the top pane.
- Select the Document tab in the bottom pane.
- Expand the Document folder or folder to view the list of defined documents.
- Select the document row you want in the left pane. The document content displays in the right pane.
- Enter or paste content into the document or edit existing content. Use the , , or Ribbon Menu options as needed to print or format the content or insert content into the document such as tables or images.
- Click in the Ribbon Menu or use the shortcut. The Version number is automatically incremented.

- Enter or paste content into the document or edit existing content. Use the , , or Ribbon Menu options as needed to print or format the content or insert content into the document such as tables or images.
- Click in the Ribbon Menu or use the shortcut. The Version number is automatically incremented.
